Retaining Wall & Turf Installation West Ryde

This project involved constructing a retaining wall, installing new turf, and upgrading the surrounding areas to create a more structured and usable outdoor space.

The existing yard had uneven levels and underutilised areas, particularly along the side of the house and near the front boundary, making it difficult to maintain and limiting how the space could be used.

A retaining wall was installed to manage the level changes and define the lawn area, followed by turf installation to create a clean, level surface.

Along the side of the property, the area was cleared and finished with decorative stone to form a low-maintenance access path. Steps were also installed to improve movement between levels.

Garden beds were refreshed with planting and mulch to soften the space and tie everything together.

Managing level changes across a relatively tight space required careful planning, particularly when constructing the retaining wall and integrating steps.

Access along the side of the property also needed to remain practical while keeping the finish clean and low-maintenance.
