This Denistone project transformed a rough, unusable backyard into a clean, level lawn with defined garden edging and a practical layout for everyday use.
Before: Uneven and Unusable Backyard
The yard was uneven and cluttered with debris, old materials and poor grading. There was no clear layout, and the space wasn’t usable as a functional outdoor area.
Build Process
The project began with a full clean-out of the site, removing debris and preparing the area for excavation. The yard was then re-levelled to establish proper fall for drainage.
Timber edging was installed to define the lawn and garden beds, followed by soil preparation to create a stable base. Turf was then laid across the entire area to deliver a clean, consistent finish.
Result
The finished result is a clean, level backyard with a clear separation between lawn and garden areas. The timber edging adds structure, while the fresh turf creates a consistent, low-maintenance outdoor space.
The area is now fully usable and visually ties in with the surrounding property.
