Porcelain paving installation creating a clean, functional outdoor area connected to the existing deck.

This Central Coast project transformed an unused outdoor space into a clean, functional paved area that connects seamlessly with the existing deck.
The area was bare, uneven and lacked structure. It wasn’t usable as a living space and didn’t connect well with the existing deck, making the backyard feel incomplete.

Location: Central Coast, NSW
Services: Paving, Landscaping
Materials: Porcelain pavers, compacted base, garden edging
Outcome: Clean, level outdoor area connected to existing deck
The project began with excavation and preparation to achieve the correct levels. A compacted base was installed to ensure long-term stability before laying large-format porcelain pavers.
Garden beds were then constructed around the perimeter to define the space, creating a clean transition between the paved area and surrounding landscape.

Working around the existing deck required careful planning to ensure a seamless transition between materials. Achieving the correct levels was also important to maintain proper drainage and create a clean, consistent finish.
The finished result is a clean, level outdoor area that flows naturally from the house. The porcelain paving creates a modern, low-maintenance surface, while the surrounding garden beds add structure and definition.
The space is now fully usable for entertaining or everyday use, with a simple layout designed to last.
